My name is Christopher Willing and firstly I'd like to thank you for taking the time to visit my website.

I am the owner of Willing Antenna Cable and Wireless.
Willing began operation in 2021 and is a privately owned business based in the leafy green suburb of Ferntree Gully in Melbourne's East.

With 27 years experience in the field I beleive providing customer service of the highest quality is paramount. My business's primary focus is supplying affordable and reliable servicing and quality installations for the TV, radio and communications sector in Melbourne.

I have a passion for helping my customers understand their new tech and assisting them in getting it up and running.  Cable installation, TV installation and reception fault finding have always been my thing!

Dating back to the mid-late 90's when cable TV first became a reality in Australia I was fresh out of high schooI. Working as an installers assistant I found my passion in working on a widespread above ground hybrid-fibre coaxial network. Assisting with cable drops, new customer installations, set top box setup and customer education. While teaching the customers how to use it. I found this very satisfying.

In 2006 I began working for the largest nationwide hospital/patient television provider as a service technician where I learnt about MATV, nurse call, patient telephone PABX, and point of sale (POS) systems. Some of the larger hospitals being The Alfred, Royal Melbourne Hospital, Mercy Heidelberg, Sunshine and Footscray.
Servicing up to 33 public and private hospitals across Melbourne and regional Victoria. I really started to get a feel for what being an always on the road service technician is really about.

In 2015 I started working for a large franchised antenna installation company. Here I learnt valuable lessons in how to best treat my customers, a better understanding of signal interference and best of all - which antenna types work best and where. I got lots of experience here terminating coaxial cables. with thousands of terminations done installing 5 wire satellite based pay tv systems in small medium and large strata / multi dwelling apartment buildings.

In 2018 I worked for 3 years for an SA based wireless internet provider who had also rolled out a wirless network with approximately 24 towers here in Melbourne. Again I became a Service Tech/Installer here working with an amazing tight-knit (group of 5) technicians carrying out site surveys and installing microwave dishes on the roofs of new customers and businesses around Melbourne.
I also had the pleasure of setting up one of their micro-tower sites in Essendon.

In short - I have gained an abundance of experience working with antenna installation, hospital television & cable television companies. Now it is time to do it for myself!
